best playstation games

A combination of remakes remasters and originals make the PS4 a system with a huge library of amazing games. The PS4 games had a great life, and is not over yet, despite the launch of the PlayStation 5. Are you new to PS4 games or are you taking a long time to play the games? No worries, here is a list of the best PS4 games that can make you a champion. If you have no idea where to start with your PS4 game collection or if you want to keep your interest in the game going, you are at the right place. We have got you covered with the collection of the best ps4 games.

So, let’s start. Find something to play and enjoy; the PlayStation 4 is now wrapping up one of the impressive runs of software we have even seen in the world of gaming, with a lot of classics to go around. None of the lists is going to be perfect and they are going to be arguable, but we stand behind every assortment on this list: Each one is a great time, based on what you are in the mood to play.

List of Popular PS4 Games

Dishonored 2

The first Dishonored was so great that there is not much room for the maneuver here, as far as quality is concerned: you are getting an option-packed adventure filled with deftly woven narrative story, set in a thoroughly believable world. What Dishonored 2, set 15 years later, adds is another playable character- select between real hero Corvo or extra-powerful protege, Emily. Supernatural abilities like the latter’s grapple-like Far Reach deliver both fun and flair, while a small-but main enhancement to melee combat is being able to turn a parry into the non-lethal knockout, making murder less of compulsion if secrecy is your game. The only drawback is assumed knowledge- the storyline makes a bit sense if you have not played the initial game.

Apex Legends

It is another candidate vying for the battle Royale Crown. Created by Respawn Entertainment and set in the Titanfall Universe, Apex Legends is a squad-based battle Royale Shooter where teams of 3 go up against 57 other players to try to collect loot and be the final person. However, unlike PUBG and Fortnite, Apex Legends sees players take on class, each characterized by a special character. This is the right battle Royale game for people who enjoy the type’s premise but cannot get on board with Fortnite’s building and PUBG’s competitiveness- and is free. Also, abilities, different classes, and restricted-time events make for a more vibrant experience overall.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

It may be a recent addition to this list, but Final Fantasy VII Remake would easily slot into any of the best PS4 game line-ups, even if it were simply a top 5.  PS4 exclusive is much more than a remaster of the Classic PSOne JRPG, it is almost a new game, having been remodeled from the ground, with incredible new graphics and combat system that holds a good position with most of the other games that are released during this generation.

Kentucky Route Zero

Another one on the list of the best ps4 games is Kentucky Route Zero. This is a narrative game that is all about a journey, but it is everything about academia, alcoholism, debt, joy, and gentrification. Crickets sing in the distance as the sun sets over a neighboring hillside. Occasionally, a car will motor by the rolling sound of asphalt on the pavement starts fading away. This game is filled with scenes like this, handcrafted to make a sense of quiet contemplation, like wind running across a cliffside.

The game leaves it to you for uncovering the way of this world and the people living in it. The strange spirituality- D&D-playing ghosts and omnipresent bluegrass bands- is never explained fully. The game rarely gives a clear reply about what is going on, or why, even after you try to pry into such matters. People who live in this world seem to be guessing about what it all means, just like you are.

On the surface, Kentucky Route Zero appears to be hyper-traditional. The game starts; it offers a clear objective; you are going to see this through. On the way, you can meet people who can asset you on the journey. But the reality is that the quest is not the main point, it is the world, the people, the journey which makes this game a hit.

Persona 5 Royal

Stylish and slick, Persona 5 is a big role-playing game about the disillusioned youth who are desperate for a move in the status quotient. You play as Japanese high school students who moonlight as The Phantom Thieves, teens with power for entering a shadow world, popularly known as the Metaverse.

In this alternative dimension, they rob the hearts of corrupt people in the actual world, an antic setup for effective changes in Persona 5’s version of Tokyo.  Released in March 2020, 3 years after the real game, Persona 5 Royal is a reworked and remastered version of Persona 5 with a piece of new story material courtesy of a third semester tacked on the end. While the plot is perhaps predictable, it is well-presented, and Royal’s quality-of-life tweaks make it worth replaying the initial 100 hours to reach there. The conclusion to the 3rd semester offers better closure than the game’s real ending, and this additional chapter provides rewarding combat for those looking for a challenge. And if you have never played Persona 5, this is one of the best ways to experience what was one of the best Japanese role-playing games in the latest memory.

Fallout 4

Hitting PS4 games with the atomic force of a Fat Boy, this game’s excellent gunplay and crafting systems can trigger a nasty case of RPG-itis. No worries though, there is a Stimpak for that. There are so many things to do in this post-apocalypse that it is almost terrifying and often you will set off to complete a mission and get sidetracked when you find something great/ horrific along the way. Giving the main character the right voice adds a layer of polish to the proceedings and the extended set of customization and companion options are welcome too. It is not without any flaws, but the scale of Bethesda’s wasteland will keep you bunkered down or the weeks. Splash in the vast DLC additions available in the whole Game of the Year version and you will not want to go back from the Wasteland.

Bloodborne

From the Software’s enigmatic and extremely challenging Souls titles, all hold crucial and fan acclaim, but none of them are as stylistically interesting as the quasi-Industrial era Bloodborne. It plays like an RPG set permanently hidden on a difficulty mode with all helpful text pop-ups removed- which is to say it needs more than a modicum of patience from the players. But this is the whole point: in Bloodborne for the PS4 games, you get what you put into it. Victory is all more rewarding when you have watched your enemy, memorized the attack patterns, hit at the right moment, and prevailed through the game’s impeccable melee combat.
